When McDonald's tackled the frozen fruit drink market with the launch of Real Fruit Smoothies last month, competitor Jamba Juice put its game face on.

First came the fast food breakfast wars. Now, it seems, the name of the game is refreshments. Every fast food joint wants a slice of the beverage pie, and number one chain McDonald's is leading the way.

In the past year, the fast food breakfast wars have taken a fiercely competitive turn, and the battle has intensified even more between fast food's top two, McDonald's and Burger King.
