In her ‘handpicked and curated collection’ Meghan also features Easter baskets embroidered with rabbit faces, as well as a build-your-own Lego rabbit, baby booties complete with rabbit ears and chocolate eggs in – lo and behold – rabbit-shaped boxes. Given the ‘Peter Rabbit Egg Hunt Kit’ it’s reasonable to assume that the Duchess has heeded an age-old adage: if the (Easter egg) ain’t broke…
In 2021, the Sussexes shared a glimpse of the Peter Rabbit-themed egg hunt they had planned for Archie in their back garden, while the Duchess was still pregnant with Lilibet. She and Harry hid multi-coloured eggs in their sprawling grounds with the help of Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland (and the whole thing was filmed in soft-focus for social media). Perhaps this year, there’ll be some flower-sprinkled shortbread cookies from the Duchess’ new brand, As Ever, waiting for the victors?

Strawberries and homemade pancakes (favourites of the Duchess) are likely to feature on the menu

For the grown-ups, it would appear that Meghan is planning something just as artful. ‘Spring has sprung!’ she wrote on a recent series of Instagram Stories, which showed her picking strawberries and collecting eggs from her chicken coop. ‘That means it’s almost Easter!’ We already know that Meghan is a die-hard fan of a themed breakfast, having made one for Valentine’s and St Patrick’s Day – so Prince Harry could well be waking up to a bunny-shaped waffle on Sunday.
