Netflix Bites – a restaurant that has opened in the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas currently does not sell any of Meghan Markle’s creations on their menu, an in-house chef has confirmed. The venue at the MGM Grand Hotel offers items including breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks based on TV hits, including a ‘WWE Smash Burger’, a ‘Selling Caesar Salad’, inspired by the streaming giant’s popular property shows Selling Sunset, and a Sex Education ‘hoagie’ sausage.

However, the restaurant is not selling any of Meghan’s ‘As Ever’ products on its menu, including Meghan’s famous jam, crudites platter, or focaccia bread that she makes on her Netflix show ‘With Love, Meghan’. Bridgerton-themed items feature heavily on the menu, inspired by the Netflix drama.

These dishes include a ‘regency tea’ supposedly designed by the show’s narrator Lady Whistledown herself, and eggs royale on an English muffin in honour of another character, Benedict Bridgerton.

An LA insider told the Daily Mail: “It is really rather odd. Netflix could have turned to its real royals for inspiration, instead of all the fake royal dishes.”

They added: “It has certainly raised eyebrows. It feels very deliberate by Netflix to exclude their biggest food influencer from their menus, while featuring a number of smaller shows.

“The whole menu is built around Netflix’s best shows with clever puns and word plays for food and drink. Having her spread as a side for toast would be such a great way to include Meghan alongside other big shows. She could have even taught the chefs at the restaurant how to cook her single skillet pasta.”

Meanwhile, a leading British chef, Jameson Stocks, who has worked for Marco Pierre White, has claimed he received a legal warning from Netflix after denouncing Meghan Markle’s cooking show, ‘With Love, Meghan’.

Mr Stocks revealed he received a letter to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, and said: “I got a lawyer’s letter from Netflix after I spoke out against her, warning me.” The chef claimed he advised the duchess to “steer clear” of the kitchen and “go back to acting”, adding that she is “quite a good actress” and that “people should stick to what they do best”.

The Duchess of Sussex launched her As Ever brand last month and debuted eight products for sale, including her raspberry jam and local honey.

However, the products sold out in less than an hour, which was seen as an incredibly successful launch by the Sussex camp. Many critics though, have questioned the high price point as her flower sprinkles, which the Duchess frequently used in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, cost 15 dollars (£11.60).
