There’s nothing like the bond between a daughter and her mother and Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte have proved just that at their latest public outing together.
The duo shared a few wholesome moments during this year’s VE Day commemorations outside Buckingham Palace.

While Prince Louis, who turned seven years old recently, was sat beside his dad Prince William, Princess Charlotte watched the military procession as part of the annual commemorations beside her mum Kate.
The Princess of Wales, 42, was seen laughing with young Charlotte who also had a birthday to celebrate recently, turning ten years old on Friday.

Always the picture of style, Kate donned a gorgeous plum ensemble, rewearing one of her favourite pieces from her wardrobe, a pleated coat dress by designer Emilia Wickstead.

She paired it with a Sean Barrett pillbox hat with a bow at the back and wore a touching piece of jewellery on the lapel of her coat as a sign of her close family connection to war veterans.
Kate’s gold winged brooch appears to be the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm brooch, as a tribute to her paternal grandfather Peter Middleton, who served as a fighter pilot in the Second World War.

Princess Charlotte followed suit in her mum’s style choices, also choosing to rewear the adorable blue and green tartan coat she had sported during the royal children’s last public outing together – the annual Christmas Day service in Sandringham.
The royal event comes a few days after Kate wish her daughter a happy tenth birthday with a beautiful photo she took of her little girl while the two were out walking in nature together.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were joined by Kate and William alongside Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte for the beginning of this year’s VE Day celebrations, marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe.
