Meghan Markle had little to say about her first encounter with the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.
Since the Duchess of Sussex dropped her royal titles and fled to Montecito, C.A. with her husband Prince Harry, she has been on the outs with the British royal family as many of them reveal their top priorities and let out family secrets during explosive interviews.
Despite the challenges the family members have faced in the last couple of years, a few of them are “open to a reunion” and Meghan could be one of them if she still thinks of her sister-in-law the same way she did when the two first met.

Tom Quinn has recently released a book called Yes, Ma’am: The Secret Life Of Royal Servants, where he gathered details from several interviews with royal staff and servants to give a glimpse of “behind palace doors.”

Within the author’s findings, a former member revealed tensions were high for the duchess and princess just before Meghan’s royal wedding in 2018. They revealed they were both let “crying their eyes out” after the altercation.
“The truth is that during the discussions about the bridesmaid’s dress Meghan said a few things she regretted and Kate said a few things she later regretted but it was all in the heat of the moment,” the source admitted.
As fans read the book, they were reminded of Meghan and Harry’s previous conflicting remarks about the interactions they had with Prince William and Princess Kate.
During an interview with BBC in 2017, the Duke said his older brother and sister-in-law were “longing to meet” Meghan.
Harry claimed their first meeting went very well as his wife chimed in, affirming his statement describing Kate as “wonderful.”

“She’s been wonderful,” she said.
The prince then added: “Amazing, as has William as well, you know, fantastic support. The whole family have come together and have been a huge amount of support.”
While the couple weren’t entirely forthcoming at that time, Harry and Meghan have both admitted to the rocky relationships they shared with their family members, with the duchess even detailing the moment mentioned in the book.
During an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the actress revealed Kate had been upset about something but had later made amends by apologizing and giving her flowers.
“It wasn’t a confrontation,” Meghan shared. “I don’t think it’s fair to her to get into the details of that, because she apologised.”
“What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn’t do but that happened to me.”
