Kylie Jenner’s fans were a bit perplexed when they first saw her new post, with the reality TV star looking stunning in a risqué lacy white ensemble that had many thinking of weddings and brides.
The 27-year-old, who is currently dating actor Timothée Chalamet, shared new photos on May 18 of herself on the beach in a strapless, lacy white minidress and matching thigh-high tights. She accessorized with some statement earrings.

Jenner also included a photo of the new version of her Kylie Cosmetics Cosmic perfume, writing in the caption, “cosmic girl 💫.”

Some fans were thrown by the photos, thinking it was a wedding post upon first glance.
One such fan wrote, “Legit thought she eloped and this was an iconic wedding dress,” while similar comments included, “For a moment I thought she was launching that about her wedding!! 😭😭 Kylie!! KYLIE!!!” and “This look like a wedding dress love it 😍.”
“It’s giving happily married idk 😍,” said another, as a different fan joked, “She’s married to cosmic fragrance.”
Once fans saw the photo of the fragrance, it became clear to many that this appeared to be a promotion for the new perfume, not a wedding announcement. Despite that, fans were still in love with the look, with many sharing compliments for Jenner like, “U are fireeee❤️❤️❤️,” and “wow just stunning 😭✨.”
