Meghan and Harry have been married for seven years now
Meghan appeared to take a dig at the royal family in a social media post to mark the seventh anniversary of her marriage to Prince Harry — by thanks “all who supported our love story”.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, thanked everyone “whether by our side or from afar” who have “loved and supported” the couple in what was seen by some as a subtle swipe at the Duke’s relatives.
She also accompanied the touching post — which included a mood board of intimate photos from her private collection — with the Proclaimers’ classic hit (I’m Gonna Be) 500 Miles’.
The song was removed from the government’s Spotify playlist to commemorate the King’s Coronation in 2023 amid complaints over the band’s republican sentiments and ‘anti-royal’ views.

Her caption read: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!”
It is seen by some commentators as a dig at The Firm, which has had a frosty relationship with the Sussexes since the couple stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to the US.
Harry and Meghan have made a series of bombshell claims against the royals since Megxit and last stepped foot in the UK together in September 2022 to attend the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

After losing a High Court appeal regarding his downgraded security in Britain earlier this month, Harry told the BBC: “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”
And he talked about the ongoing feud with his family, adding: “There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family.”
But he said that he has now “forgiven” them and that he would “love reconciliation” with them.

After Harry’s interview aired, Buckingham Palace said: “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.”
Harry and Meghan tied the knot on May 19, 2018, in a glitzy ceremony in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
In the anniversary post, Meghan shared a mood board filled with pictures of her and Harry as well as never-before-seen images of their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
She regularly shares pictures of her children since she returned to Instagram at the start of the year, but she always conceals their faces to protect their privacy.
The last time fans saw a glimpse of the youngsters’ faces was in footage on their Netflix documentary and before that in official images released when they were members of the Royal Family.
Very few pictures of Lilibet looking directly at the camera have been released, although the couple did share a sweet image to mark her first birthday in June 2022.
