As Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made their iconic red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival, fans couldn’t help but notice that they shared a striking resemblance to one famous couple.
Over the weekend, Rihanna stepped out to support her husband A$AP Rocky as his movie Highest 2 Lowest made it’s world premiere. As the lovebirds walked the red carpet underneath the showering rain, many fans compared the picturesque moment to one stunning image of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the Endeavour Fund Awards in 2020.
In the striking photograph, Meghan and Harry were seen beaming at one another underneath a shared umbrella as they made their way into the venue. The romantic snap came to symbolize the pair’s unwavering resilience as they faced fierce backlash after their decision to step away from the Royal Family.

And like the Sussexes, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were seen underneath an umbrella wearing almost identical outfits and showing off their unbreakable bond. For the occasion, Rihanna was seen wearing a vibrant, bright blue bodycon cutout gown designed by Alaïa. This gorgeous look was compared to the glamorous dress of the same hue Meghan wore.

As for A$AP Rocky, the rapper looked dashing as he stepped out in a sleek black Saint Laurent suit paired with stylish Ray Bans. Similar to the rapper, Prince Harry was seen in the beautiful photo wearing a classic suit as he held an umbrella to protect his wife from the pouring rain.
In a newly posted Reddit thread, fans compared the two sweet images of the power couples. One person wrote: “The photos with the umbrella remind me of the iconic Meghan and Prince Harry rain photo.”
Another fan complimented: “They always seem genuinely happy together. She is glowing and so beautiful.”
And third user chimed in: “Beautiful love! She is so gorgeous and I am so happy for her! You can see the genuine love!”
While someone else sweetly added: “I love this color on her!”
During their red carpet appearance, Rihanna also showed off her blossoming baby bump as the happy couple recently announced that they are expecting baby number three together. The Umbrella hitmaker revealed that she was pregnant during the 2025 Met Gala as she walked the red carpet in a cropped Miu Miu two-piece.
A$AP later confirmed the happy news during a red carpet interview with CBS Mornings. When the news outlet asked what Rihanna’s Met Gala outfit was, the 36-year-old actor replied: “Rihanna’s outfit tonight is…I don’t know, whatever, just don’t really cover her baby hump, ya dig?”
