Meghan Markle has ‘no intention of moving back to the UK’ and will ‘do anything she can to remain in the US’, an expert has claimed as Prince Harry faces a decision over his visa

Meghan Markle has “no intention of moving back to the UK,” despite the recent setback Prince Harry faced with his visa application, according to a royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex finds himself in a difficult position after a US court ruled that his visa application must be made public by the end of the day. This decision follows a controversy sparked by Harry’s admission of past drug use in his memoir, Spare.
Judge Carl Nichols ordered the release of the documents in response to an ongoing Freedom of Information (FOI) request filed by US think tank, the Heritage Foundation. The conservative organization based in Washington DC suggested Harry might have hidden previous illegal drug use, which should have prevented him from obtaining a US visa.

The group questioned why Harry was granted entry into the US in 2020, following his admission in Spare of using cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms.

According to court filings dated March 15, Judge Nichols instructed the US Department of Homeland Security to make redacted versions of the documents available no later than Tuesday. This development follows a September 2024 ruling by the same judge, stating that the public did not have a significant interest in the disclosure of Harry’s immigration records.
However, the Heritage Foundation sought to overturn this judgment. Despite initially rejecting the FOI request, lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security agreed in February to release redacted versions of the forms.
Journalist Charlotte Griffiths has now spoken out and is convinced Meghan Markle has no plans to leave the US. She also suggested Harry is committed to staying close to his children at all costs.

Speaking to GB News, she revealed, “One thing I’ve heard consistently all along is that Harry will never be away from his kids. He’ll do anything he can for them. Even if that marriage ended, and I’m not saying it will, he will always remain wherever the kids are.”
She continued, “Meghan has no intention of moving back to the UK or leaving America. So, it seems that whatever happens, he’s going to try his best to be there, I guess.” In a separate matter, DHS lawyers have indicated that “three items will be released with redactions, but a fourth must remain private.”
In his memoir, Harry mentioned that cocaine “didn’t do anything for me”, contrasting it with marijuana which “is different, that actually really did help me.” President Donald Trump weighed in on the Duke of Sussex’s situation during a GB News interview with Nigel Farage last March, asserting that Harry should not be given any special treatment.
When questioned about whether he should receive “special privileges” in case of falsehoods on his visa application, Trump stated, “No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.”
