‘Nobody Wants This’ Cast Shares Why the Show Feels Relevant
I’m Scott Schillstone and we’re on the go here at Netflix FYC LA with Nobody Wants This. So, the show is called Nobody Wants This, but clearly people do. What do you think that it is about the story that audiences are resonating with? It’s nice to see a love story about people of a certain age. I mean, I think there is a big thing that like seeing Adam Brody and Kristen Bell kiss is a big deal is really incredible. Aaron wrote something very unique in that it’s so realistic. There’s, you know, a sense of uh fantasy to it because everyone wants to fall in love, but the reality is it’s like people are on dating apps and they’re annoying and they’re in their 40s and they’re still dating and someone’s out there for you. We did, I believe, capture some tingles, you know what I mean? Uh some tingles, some love tingles and that is harder to do than it looks. Not that it was hard per se, just that it was a happy accident. I just think it really strikes a lot of nerves. Resonates [Music]
