Prince William and Kate Middleton are causing concern among aides that they “may be spending too much time with their immediate family instead of supporting the ‘Firm’.”

This is according to associate editor of The Telegraph, Camilla Tominey, who says the Royal couple are “under growing pressure to up their workload”.

This in turn makes a reconciliation between the brothers, William and Harry, unlikely, Camilla suggests.

For the future King and Queen of Britain, William and Kate, they have an apparent reluctance towards official duties, as previously reported by The Scottish Express.

While this was initially due to WIlliam stepping back in 2024 when Kate was undergoing cancer treatment, rumours were already swirling before this that tstaff saw them more like a part-time Royal.

It was also noted that William managed to find time for his personal interests, such as travelling to Germany for the Euros and South Africa for his Earthshot Prize.

While Kate’s presence for Royal duties is increasing since her cancer treatment, she remains committed to being a hand-on mum to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

Meanwhile, William’s potential amends with Harry are “low down their list of priorities,” Camilla asserts.

There was a previous accusation that William confronted him in a dispute over Meghan Markle but Camilla suggests the heir has become less heated on the subject.

While William is “no longer as angry as he was,” friends maintain there is “no way back” for Harry and the “prevailing attitude is – let sleeping dogs lie”.

William’s recent attention was turned to the ocean, as he urged world leaders to protect it during a speech in Monaco after meeting French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday.

Speaking at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF), he said: “Rising sea temperatures, plastic pollution and overfishing are putting pressure on these fragile ecosystems and on the people and communities who depend most upon them.

“What once seemed an abundant resource is diminishing before our eyes.

“We all stand to be impacted. And we are all responsible for change – both negative and positive. But there remains time to turn this tide.”
