Kate Middleton was forced to issue a stern reminder to Prince Louis on the royal balcony, according to a lip reader. The Royal Family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet the crowds and enjoy the flypast today as part of the annual Trooping the Colour event today (June 14) – marking King Charles’ official birthday.

Kate was joined by her husband Prince William and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Louis, as well as Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and Sophie Wessex.

However, seven-year-old Louis stole the show with his toothless smile and awe-struck expression as he watched the planes fly overhead.

As the flypast ended and the national anthem began, cameras caught Kate reminding Louis to stand up straight. According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, she told him: “National anthem, Louis stand.” It is customary for all royals below King Charles, as well as members of the public, to stand during the national anthem.

Meanwhile, William was seen chatting with his father, Charles, and Jeremy claims that a jubilant William exclaimed, “Oh my word, what a day.” The King replied: “Great theatre.”

This was not the only interesting conversation picked up by Jeremy during the iconic event in London. Earlier, as they made their way from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade, Charles and Camilla were seen engaged in a heated discussion.

Lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman gave a fascinating read on King Charles’ expressions, revealing: “Absolutely crazy, disgrace, absolutely extraordinary.”

While not all of Charles’ conversation was clear, Freeman did catch snippets including the phrase “on my way out”. He remarked: “Meanwhile, not like me. That’s the difference between me and him.”

It remains uncertain who the “him” refers to, although fellow lip reader Nicola Hickling suggested to the Express that Prince Harry was the topic of conversation earlier.

This year’s Trooping the Colour deviated from its usual proceedings due to the tragic Air India plane crash, which claimed the lives of 241 individuals this week.

In a respectful gesture commanded by King Charles, members of the Royal Family donned black armbands, and a minute’s silence honored those lost in the crash.

The display boasted over a thousand British Army personnel marching with full ceremony, reinforcing the country’s strong military roots.

Central to the ritual was the parading of the “Colour”, or regimental flag, before the troops, a nod to its historical role as a rally point on the battlefield.

Upholding tradition, Charles executed his role in reviewing the soldiers, fulfilling a duty rich with ceremonial heritage.
