Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle and homemaking brand ‘As Ever’ draws inspiration from a Hollywood icon. The Duchess’s venture focuses on exquisitely designed essentials, now available for purchase on her online store, featuring farmhouse style products with plans to expand, as reported by The Independent.
Markle has proven her mettle in marketing other brands and is now stepping into the limelight with her own label. Sources say Meghan looked to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop as a muse.
An insider revealed: “There was the thought that she could dominate any space she decided to get into. But she doesn’t want to be accessible.”

The Duchess aims to reign as a ‘Montecito queen’, yet seems hesitant to fully embrace the approach Paltrow took, where Gwyneth famously said: “but isn’t willing to commit in the way Gwyneth was-in the sense where Gwyneth was like, ‘I don’t care if you’re poor and can’t afford this. Get in or get out,” as per reports from Puck.
Amidst rampant rumors, Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow have quashed any notion of a rift in the most fitting manner, according to The Mirror, reports the Express.
Residing in Montecito, the two celebrities joined forces to create a playful Instagram video addressing the alleged discord. In the video, Gwyneth answers a fan’s query: “Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?”
She responds with confusion: “I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever,” and then turns the camera to Meghan, asking, “Do you understand this?”
Meghan simply shrugs her shoulders before she and her companion burst into laughter.
Rumor has it that one major investor is backing Meghan Markle’s entire brand. Allegedly, her lifestyle brand, which offers a range of farmhouse products, is not only financially supported by Netflix but also owes its very existence to the streaming giant.
Despite Ted Sarandos’ earlier claim that Netflix plays a passive role in Meghan’s company, a source claims that everything about the brand is “completely manufactured and handled by Netflix.”

This arrangement has been likened to a licensing agreement, with the Duchess supposedly outsourcing her entire brand to the streaming service.
The insider revealed to media outlet Puck: “She’s not building a lifestyle empire. There’s no one that works for the brand. She’s outsourced the entire brand to Netflix. They send samples and she picks what she likes.”
Meghan Markle has also recently launched a show on Netflix called With Love, Meghan, where she shares various home tips and tricks. Notably, the show’s theme bears a striking resemblance to that of her brand, focusing on home and cooking upgrades.
