Every year without fail, the return of Wimbledon also sees a rise in head-to-toe white outfits inspired by the players’ on-court athleticwear. Whilst we may not be hitting the tennis court ourselves, we do love a niche fashion trend, especially one that’s as sophisticated and elegant as an all-white ensemble – and it seems even the Royal family isn’t immune to the power of the look.
Kate Middleton was spotted today at the Order of the Garter looking effortlessly elegant in a top-to-toe white outfit, which included a re-wear of her now sold out Self Portrait Pleated Woven Midi Dress . Princess Kate also accessorised with another piece she wears on repeat; her Strathberry Multrees Chain Wallet.

Although she’s been spotted on multiple occasions carrying the navy version of the clutch bag, for the Order of the Garter Princess Kate opted for the white version of the bag. Unlike many of her more pricey designer bags, the Strathberry bag is surprisingly affordable at £295, and whilst it’s still a little splurge, it’s also a fantastic investment that you can pair with plenty of outfits for all kinds of occasions.

The versatile Multrees Chain Wallet can be carried as both a clutch bag or as a cross body thanks to the detachable gold chain, with Kate seen carrying it both ways over the years. Although her Self Portrait dress is sold out, we did manage to find some fantastic alternatives to complete the look.

If you loved the floaty, pleated look however, this Karen Millen Tailored Crepe Asymmetric Pleated Skirt Blazer Midaxi Dress is a great option.
Currently on sale with 60% off, it’s slashed from its usual price of £269 to £108 and has a draped pleated skirt with an asymmetrical midaxi hemline. The blazer also has an asymmetric design with a sharply tailored waist that creates a flattering silhouette not too dissimilar to Kate’s.
