During Trooping the Colour, a lip reader suggests King Charles and Queen Camilla appeared to express concerns about Prince Harry during the public engagement.

While parading down The Mall in a carriage, with waves and smiles for the cheering crowds, the couple seemed to be deep in private conversation.

According to a lip-reading analysis by Nicola Hickling for the Daily Express, the Royal pair appeared to exchange words about an “ongoing issue” with Harry amidst the celebration. This comes after the prince spoke to the BBC last month regarding communication difficulties with his father.

Nicola reports that Charles reminded Camilla, saying “wave and smile so that we can keep talking” to which she allegedly replied, “Yes. What else did he want?” He’s then said to have responded, “He keeps dragging it all up, there seems to be another issue, right now.”

The conversation continued around the Duke of Sussex as Nicola interpreted it, with Camilla questioning “what are you going to do about it?” and Charles saying “we will tackle it sooner or later, it’s all very messy and I will talk to Harry. That’ll be fun.”, reports Yorkshire Live.

To this, Camilla allegedly said: “Oh yes, problematic.”

This year’s Trooping the Colour takes place once again without Prince Harry, who last participated in 2022.

During a conversation that was interpreted by lip reader Jeremy Freeman for the Scottish Daily Express, King Charles was reportedly overheard saying: “Absolutely crazy, disgrace, absolutely extraordinary.”

Later on, the 76 year old monarch was heard to say: “On my way out”, and he added: “Meanwhile, not like me. That’s the difference between me and him.”

While it’s unclear who or what King Charles was referring to, these comments come amid rumors of his disagreement with Prince Andrew concerning the future of the Royal Lodge.

Despite any underlying tensions, both King Charles and Queen Camilla appeared to be in high spirits at the event, which is a traditional celebration marking the monarch’s official birthday.

At the same event, beyond the King’s interactions with Queen Camilla, the festivities went on smoothly, featuring appearances by King Charles and Queen Camilla alongside younger royals such as Prince William and Princess Kate, and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The lineup of Royals in attendance included other prominent members like Princess Anne, Duchess Sophie, and Prince Edward. The afternoon was capped off with a magnificent flypast, signaling the conclusion of the celebrations.
