amanda Ciphford is ringing the alarm bell on Hollywood’s growing obsession with sequels warning that both audiences and maybe even the studios themselves are starting to tire of films churned out purely for profit speaking in a recent interview Ciphford acknowledged that the neverending parade of follow-ups is beginning to wear thin yet in a twist worthy of the silver screen she admitted she’d jump at the chance to repraise her role in a third installment of the beloved Mamma Mia series pointing out that sequels are fair game as long as they offer something new and meaningful not just a cash grab regarding Mamma Mia 3 Ciphford noted that there’s no creative issues holding things back only matters of timing and budget and the star-studded cast featuring legends like Meil Stre Pierce Brosman and Christine Moransky have reportedly been approached even though spoiler alert Streep’s character was deceased in the last film
