kim Kardashian is sharing chilling details about being robbed at gunpoint in Paris nearly 9 years ago on May 13th the reality star arrived at the Pale to Justice Court in the French capital alongside her mom Chris Jenner to deliver testimony against 10 people dubbed the Grandpa Robbers who are accused of stealing $9 million in jewelry from Kardashian during her testimony which was also the first time that she faced the alleged assale since the night of the 2016 robbery the Skiims founder began to tear up as she recalled what happened to her that night claiming that she didn’t think she’d survive “i absolutely did think I was going to die,” Kim said in response to a question from the presiding judge according to a live report by NBC News the 44year-old shared that she was pretty hysterical pleading for help to the concierge who was also handcuffed “i said to the concierge I have babies tell them “I just have to make it home,” she said adding that the concierge replied “I don’t know i don’t know if we’re going to die.” The reality star continued to reveal graphic details recalling that she was naked with just a robe on when the alleged asalants entered the room she claimed that they were dressed as police and that one of the men put tape over her hands and mouth while another held a gun at her “he grabs my legs and pulls me i’m naked and my everything is exposed i was sure I was going to be raped,” she testified the reality star also shared that she feared her sister Courtney who was also in Paris but still out would come home to find her shot dead she recalled beginning to free herself while on the bathroom floor later sharing that she didn’t know if she could believe the actual police when they came during her court appearance Kim received a statement from a defendant asking for forgiveness the 44year-old who is in law school and outspoken about her belief in second chances responded “I do appreciate the letter i forgive you for what has taken place but it doesn’t change the emotion and the feelings in the trauma the way my life is forever changed two other defendants also reportedly addressed the reality star kim also recalled how hurtful it was that some people thought the robbery was a hoax before French authorities had arrested the alleged asalants she also shared how things have changed for her now she doesn’t post on social media in real time unless on a public schedule and has upgraded her security she also takes off jewelry and sends it to a safe before going home the reality star who has advocated for changes in the justice system additionally told the court that she’s been through extensive therapy adding that it helped her see things differently about the concierge who she described as calm the night of the attack saying “Some people’s trauma response is to remain calm to protect themselves i do believe he is a victim i understand how never going through this before you look at everyone trying to figure out who was involved but now I understand he was trying to survive just like me he was in it with me not against me [Music]
