Chris Harrison Issues Bold Statement About Meghan Markle: ‘Just Cringe’ originally appeared on Parade.
Chris Harrison has thoughts on Meghan Markle’s return to social media.
On the Tuesday, June 17, episode of his and wife Lauren Zima’s Through the Dramapodcast, the former Bachelor host shared his thoughts on Meghan and Prince Harry’s viral “baby mama dance” video.

“Meghan Markle finally had a very small victory,” Harrison, 53, said. “She finally had what seemed like a normal moment [and] it went viral. She was dancing withHarry in the hospital room.”
“It actually made her look just, like, a normal human being,” he added. “She can’t take the win of just letting it go. She’s like, ‘Remember when I had that moment?’ It’s just cringe, and she can’t get out of her own way. God bless her.”
In the video Meghan, 43, and husband Harry, 40, were seen dancing to the viral “Baby Mama Dance” just moments before she gave birth to their daughter, Lilibet, in 2021.
Meghan recently defended the video against social media backlash during the latest episode of Emma Grede’s Aspire podcast.
“You have to be authentic,” she said. “It’s also a really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life — a real, authentic, fun life — that’s happening behind the scenes.”
“I’m just grateful that now, being back on social [media] as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms.” Meghan added.
Meghan recently rejoined Instagram after shuttering all her social media profiles before marrying Harry in 2018.
Chris Harrison hosted all Bachelor franchise shows from The Bachelor’s premiere in 2002 until 2021. Harrison left the show following a controversy where he defended contestant Rachael Kirkconnell when photos surfaced of her attending a racist antebellum themed party.
