Princess Eugenie made her first public appearance at this year’s Royal Ascot on Friday. The princess and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, joined her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and the rest of the royal family for the fourth day of one of the liveliest events on the royal family’s annual summer calendar.

Channeling Dior’s signature New Look with a few modern touches, Princess Eugenie wore a white wide-brimmed hat, a white flared full skirt, and a beige cropped shirt with a bit of a geometric cut in the back. She also reached into her closet for her M2Malletier crossbody bag, which she previously carried to the 2018 wedding of her cousin Prince Harry to Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle and to Ascot that same year.

The Duchess of York, meanwhile, also championed the power of a rewear with a polka dot wrap dress appeared to be the same as one she previously donned in the 1980s and 1990s. Earlier in the week, the duchess wore a vintage Saint-Laurent jacket that she reportedly acquired herself in 1980.

Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, was also onsite at the Ascot Racecourse on the first and third days of the Royal Ascot this week, along with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Beatrice also went for a classic summer fashion trend in a matching top and skirt set by Beulah London for the first day of the races. Following the strict dress code at the Ascot, Edo went for the traditional English menswear look with a top hat and two-piece morning suit.
The York sisters were most recently seen together at the Chelsea Flower Show, where they coordinated their floral frocks in sisterly style. Eugenie also attended a Buckingham Palace garden party in May alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales, while Beatrice stepped out with King Charles and Queen Camilla at an event raising money for the Elephant Family, an organization established by Queen Camilla’s late brother, Mark Shand.
