anderson Cooper is facing a terrifying evacuation on camera in Israel the CNN correspondent was broadcasting from Tel Aviv Israel alongside reporters Clarissa Ward and Jeremy Diamond around 3:00 a.m local time on June 23rd when an alarm went off indicating a possible incoming missile attack we know that obviously Hamas and Hezbollah have been severely degraded i should just say that we’re now hearing an alert right which is an indication that we Right so these are these are the alerts that go out on all of our phones when you’re in Israel it’s a 10-minute warning of incoming uh missiles or something incoming from Iran after the team was notified Anderson and fellow co-hosts walked down to the bomb shelter bringing the viewer along with them an alarm in the next 10 minutes please prepare to stay near this is the first time uh today uh that we have had an alarm like this um it’s obviously something that many here in Tel Aviv have gotten used to over the last 10 or 11 days since uh since this began the CNN stream was spotty with service going in and out but the team updated the public as they traveled down into the shelter there’s also been reports that the Iranians have been using different types of ballistic missiles uh some reports of cluster munition use as well and we’ve seen the kind of impact that that can have on the scene it it is a luxury to have a 10-minute warning um obviously in in a situation like this in many cases obviously you know rockets from Gaza uh generally there isn’t that like a 10-minute window [Music]
