Princess Lilibet and her cousin Princess Charlotte are both huge fans of this British stuffed animal brand.Lili was seen with one of their plushies in Meghan Markle’s new Instagram video.”Hope you enjoy your treats when they arrive this week! 🍯,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote in the caption.
Princess Lilibet and Princess Charlotte have more than their middle names in common. The royal cousins also share an affinity for the same stuffed animals, as revealed by Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post.
In a new video shared to the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram account on Monday, she and her daughter are briefly seen foraging in a garden. Princess Lilibet (and her recognizable red hair) makes a cameo in the clip, touting one of Jellycat’s Amuseables Rainbow Bags. The British brand is best known for its line of cuddly, anthropomorphic foods, plants, and other objects.
Princess Charlotte is also a confirmed Jellycat fan: she even posed with one of their stuffed bunnies in some of her first-ever royal portraits.
Charlotte’s parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, were gifted two Jellycats at a Buckingham Palace garden party in May. William’s response indicated that Charlotte and her siblings would be thrilled: “My children will love these,” he said. “They are children’s currency.”
Meghan’s new video also includes footage of the Duchess picking produce for As Ever’s line of honeys and fruit spreads.
