Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former news anchor Lauren Sanchez are getting married today (June 27) on the scenic island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The guests for the ceremony arrived on Thursday. Jeff and Lauren’s wedding is one of the biggest global events of the year. As per media reports, the couple is going to tie the knot at one of the most luxurious hotels on the Grand Canal: The Aman Venice. For the unversed, George Clooney married human rights lawyer Amal at the same five-star hotel.

Ahead of Jeff and Lauren’s wedding, Hollywood celebrities reached France. Kim Kardashian, Usher, and Orlando Bloom were spotted arriving in speedboats with other guests. The wedding is the current talk of the town.

Jeff and Lauren’s wedding was a three-day affair that included a ceremony aboard Bezos’s $500 million yacht, Koru, and is being orchestrated by top-tier event planners Lanza & Baucina. Reportedly, more than 90 jets would bring the guests to the venue in Venice. The President of Veneto regional government revealed to reporters that the wedding is expected to cost 40 to 48 million euros, that is, $46.5 to $55.6 million.
