Lauren Sanchez is officially Mrs. Bezos, and she wasted no time letting the world know just how smitten she is. Fresh off their jaw-dropping $50 million wedding of the year, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez were spotted boarding a water taxi for night three of celebrations, a star-studded pajama party, no less. And while they looked effortlessly glam navigating the cobblestones and canals, it’s what they said to each other that had people swooning. According to lipreer Nicola Hickling, the Amazon billionaire offered his new bride a hand into the boat and Lauren sweetly thanked him. Once seated, she leaned in and whispered, “Love you.” before sealing it with a kiss. She even turned toward the photographers and mouth one final word, “Impressed!” iconic. But not all moments were so serene. Just hours earlier, Jeff had to step in when a swarm of Italian reporters got a little too rowdy, shouting questions about local protests. His response, a breezy, love you guys, and a blown kiss because nothing says I’m unfazed like public displays of affection for the press. The backlash, dubbed the No Space for Bezos movement, stems from local residents and activists upset over the extravagant celebrations held across Venice’s most iconic and historic spots. Still, the couple managed to keep things on track thanks in part to their tight-lipped event planning team. Guests weren’t even told where they were going until it was time to board the next water taxi. So, while there may have been protesters outside, inside the boat it was all kisses, whispers, and one very impressed new bride.
