Twins Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer often wear coordinated looks—even sometimes the same look, but in different colors.
Though both sisters had on their tennis whites for an appearance at Wimbledon this week, their outfits—Eliza in a white dress, Amelia in a striped blue and white shirt and white wide-legged pants—were a departure from one another.
Amelia’s Wimbledon look mirrored one worn in 2018 to the same tennis tournament by Meghan Markle; Princess Beatrice had blue and white stripes of her own at the event on June 30.
Princess Diana’s nieces Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer are certainly having a busy summer—from Cannes to Royal Ascot to Wimbledon, and that’s just for starters.

The twin daughters of Charles Spencer, Diana’s younger brother, changed course from their typical matching looks at events—though their outfits did coordinate. Eliza wrote on Instagram on July 2 that she was in a look by Max Mara, and she carried an Aspinal of London bag; she wore a white dress that cinched at the waist and wedges for her day at Centre Court. Amelia wore white wide-legged trousers and a striped blue and white shirt—Princess Beatrice, too, wore a striped blue and white look when she attended Wimbledon on June 30, and Meghan Markle wore a striped blue and white shirt at Wimbledon in 2018, the same year she married into the royal family.

Hello! reported that the Spencer twins “truly stole the show” at the tournament. In addition to watching the tennis action take place on the court, the outlet reported that the sisters “enjoyed relaxed conversation, gourmet canapés, and a front-row glimpse of the day’s festivities before the matches began.”
The outlet also mentioned that Amelia and Eliza attended as guests of Emirates, which is the official airline partner of the championships, and that they “looked in sync in their tennis whites.” (As one does at Wimbledon!)

This isn’t Amelia and Eliza’s first go-round at Wimbledon. Coincidentally, the twins attended the tournament on the exact same day in 2024, both in pantsuits with statement buttons, though different colors—Amelia in green, and Eliza in white.
The twins’ looks often complement each other and trade off as to who gets to decide what they’re wearing for an event, they told W magazine recently. “It comes quite naturally to us, since our style and taste are so incredibly similar,” Amelia said. “In fact, we usually end up choosing the exact same looks.”

“We are so lucky,” Eliza added of their connections as twins. “There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t realize that. And I think our twin bond is truly indescribable. Obviously, we’ve shared this connection since before we entered the world, and it goes beyond words. We look at each other, we know exactly what we’re thinking. We’re identical inside and out. We almost feel like we’re soulmates.”
