Princess Kate seemed to subtly communicate with Meghan Markle during her appearance at the UK-France State Banquet on Tuesday. Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, have been in a tense situation with the Royal Family for some time now, having stepped back from their royal duties five years ago.
Accompanied by Prince William, Kate attended the State Banquet on the first evening of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte’s three-day visit to the UK. The Royal couple were also the first to welcome the Macrons upon their arrival in Britain.
Kate dazzled royal enthusiasts as she donned a luxurious dark red silk creponne evening gown by Sarah Burton for Givenchy, which could be seen as a nod to her sister-in-law, Meghan, who selected Givenchy for her wedding dress in 2018, reports Daily Express UK.

The future Queen complemented her elegant gown with the Lover’s Knot Tiara, making it her first tiara appearance since November 2023.
Kate, who became a member of the Royal Family in 2011, has donned the renowned Lover’s Knot Tiara at least a dozen times, making it one of her go-to Royal accessories. Her presence at the event was only confirmed on Tuesday afternoon, as she continues to prioritize her health following her fight with cancer, leading to last-minute confirmations for major appearances.
Before their grand entrance on Tuesday evening, Kensington Palace unveiled a fresh snapshot of William and Kate as they readied themselves for the French State Banquet at Windsor Castle.
