Charlotte wore a Snake Chain Slider Bracelet from Pandora, a popular piece among young jewellery wearers. The Danish brand is renowned for its customisable charm collections, each one making reference to their milestones and hobbies.
Though often a sweet gift for little girls, the bracelet may carry a deeper significance for Charlotte. Her late grandmother, Diana, Princess of Wales, cherished a gold charm bracelet gifted by Prince Charles after their wedding. For their first ten anniversaries, Charles gave her a new charm: a miniature St Paul’s Cathedral, marking their 1981 wedding venue; a pair of ballet slippers, a nod to Diana’s love of dance; a polo cap for Charles’ Polo passion; an apple, rumoured to symbolise her fondness for New York; and even a tiny pig.
But most sentimental of all were two simple gold initials: ‘H’ and ‘W’, given to her after the births of Prince Harry and Prince William. The bracelet was so meaningful that Diana seldom wore it in public. Now, it seems Charlotte may be nodding to this touching family tradition.
This was the first time the young royal has been seen wearing the Pandora piece, and so far, she’s collected three charms. The first is from Pandora’s Disney collection: the Eternity Circle Charm, featuring Charlotte’s emerald-green birthstone.
The second is a rose-gold figurine of Nala from The Lion King, a family favourite. In fact, Prince William revealed in 2017 that Prince George was ‘quite fond’ of the film. The third charm is a white engravable heart disc.

Princess Charlotte’s Pandora charm bracelet currently has three charms, two from the Disney collection and a third heart disc that can be personalised
