It looks like Prince Harry and King Charles are on their way to ending their feud – and Meghan Markle has been encouraged to get involved.

The Duke of Sussex approved a meeting involving two of his team members and the King’s director of communications, with the meeting being dubbed “peace talks.”

It’s believed the talk was arranged to discuss how to avoid media clashes and conflicts around calendar dates for the next Invictus Games. After pictures from the meeting were leaked, PR expert Ryan McCormick told The Express US Meghan should be involved.

“While The Duchess never seems to be too far away from a new controversy, lately she’s hit a positive stride with the success of her As Ever brand,” he began.

McCormick continued, “Harry reconciling with his father is something many seem to be longing for. If I were advising Meghan’s team, I would be telling them to ask allies to go on record about how she is playing a prominent role in these peacekeeping talks.”

It’s understood this was Ms Maines’ first visit to the UK since her appointment as the Sussexes’ inaugural chief communications officer on March 3. She holds the highest position in the newly established Sussex Royal Household, which was formed last month.

There was no apparent contact between Harry’s team and the team of William and Kate, nor were there any invitations extended for in-person meetings.

Following the talk, a source claimed to the Daily Mail, “There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years. There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.”

They further added, “Everyone just wants to move on and move forward now. It was finally the right time for the two sides to talk.”
