What is the number one thing we should stream this week? Summer Turn Pretty season three. Okay. Um, if you haven’t I’m someone who’s just recently caught up on this because I was just tired. I was jealous of hearing all the drama from my co-orker Nicole Galuchi cuz she’s our big Samurai Turn pretty fan and um, point person. But this season is going to be a ride. Not only is it the third and final season based on the Jenny Han books, but for the first time ever, Amazon didn’t send critics any screeners and refused to. So, no one knows what is going to happen. So, um if you’ve listened to me before, we have these things in the industry where we get advanced looks at TV so we can like prop our coverage. This season’s on lock down like it’s Game of Thrones or something. Now, cuz I remember when you came in to talk about the bear. Yeah. You said that happened for them because maybe they were a little afraid of reviews. Is that the same as Summer Turn or Summer Turn Pretty like No. We It’s kind of like they’re like Taylor Swift the Vault. It’s t the vault and they are afraid of fan reactions because also this week they put out on social media this like plea of the fans to be nice cuz cousins are safe space and the the stars have even had to talk about toxicity in the fandom because what this sounds like love island. Yes. How does it get this crazy for a scripted show? What are people upset about? I’ve never seen it. For people who don’t know what the summer I turn pretty is, how would you describe the concept? The summer I turned pretty is one of those beautiful like you know classic young romances. It’s about this girl named Isabelle or Belly. I hate her nickname but Belly. It’s why I took a long time for me to watch the show. I was like Belly. But no, she’s called Belly. That’s kind of to you. It shows her status. But she grows up every summer going with her mom to her mom’s best friend’s beach house. And her mom’s best friend has these two sons, Conrad and Jeremiah, who grew up with Belly. And Belly as a child pines after Conrad, the older brother, but Jeremiah’s her best friend. And they get into a big love triangle. Not her messing up the family. Wait, Belly is messy. Okay, Belly is a little messy. I I just finished the first book and watching the first season. I’ve watched some of the new season and this season already in the first two episodes is messy as well.
