Meghan Markle is set for more bad news as the company who produced her podcast prepares for a major shake-up. The 43-year-old made her second attempt at podcasting earlier this year, with the release of Confessions of a Female Founder.
The podcast, which first aired back in April, saw Meghan joined by a host of female company founders to speak about their personal entrepreneurial journeys. It aimed to offer listeners advice and insights into the realities of starting and maintaining a business. Unlike Archetypes, which launched in 2022, Confessions of a Female Founder was produced by Lemonada Media.
According to Page Six, Lemonada Media is being bought “by Swedish company PodX”.
Based in Minnesota, Lemonada Media was founded in 2019 by CEO Jessica Cordova Kramer and chief content officer Stephanie Wittels Wachs after “the devastating loss of our brothers”, the pair said in a statement.
As reported by Variety back in May, the company had “a simple yet salient mission: to make life suck less,” according to co-founders.
As of May 2025, Lemonada Media had launched more than 50 original podcasts along with nearly 40 partner shows.
As well as Meghan’s podcast, the company had produced other podcasts such as “Wiser Than Me With Julia Louis-Dreyfus” and “The Sarah Silverman Podcast”.
As part of Qarlbo, a Sweden-based global investment company, PodX Group – which was founded in 2021 – has aggregated a number of podcast studios, including Nouvelles Écoutes and Studio Minuit in France, Posta in Argentina and Goldhawk Productions, Listen and Platform Media in the UK.
Meghan, 43, is reportedly continuing to work on her brand As Ever and, most importantly, raise her children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
