Prince Harry is reportedly “desperate” to reconcile with the Royal Family, but a royal expert says his prospects of healing the rift appear increasingly bleak following a “string of betrayals.”

The Duke of Sussex’s strained relationship with the royals has returned to public attention after photographs surfaced showing some of his staff meeting with the King’s representatives in London.

Reports have also suggested that the Duke is prepared to coordinate his official schedule to avoid conflicts with Royal engagements.

This development follows Harry’s declaration in a bombshell BBC interview in May that he seeks reconciliation with his estranged family.

This comes after a legal setback concerning his reduced security arrangements in the UK.

The Royal expert further noted that, according to palace sources, Charles remains “cautious and wary’ regarding fearing further unsavory leaks, especially private Royal Family gatherings being publicised yet again.”

Another barrier to Harry’s potential Royal return is, according to Ms Fordwich, his older brother, Prince William. She stated: “Overall, doubt still prevails in Prince William’s camp. He considers any reconciliation at all as a ‘grave mistake’.

“His senior royal courtiers are understood to be just as wary and immensely protective of the future monarch. They only see [a reconciliation] as creating more bombshells, as well as instability.”
