THE END OF KIM KARDASHIAN

Kim Kardashian is now targeting young women with predatory shapewear meant for your face. Oh my god, what is that? These things are super popular in Japan. They definitely don’t work though, and we have a plastic surgeon to vouch for that. This looks like something I would see in a paid IG post from a sketchy corporate account that replies to all the comments. Yeah, I’ve seen videos from several dermatologists and plastic surgeons debunking these products. The scientific consensus in medical literature seems to be they don’t work. There’s no way Kim is using this contraption. She’s getting Botox, filler, and facelifts like every other person with money. But is this really news at this point, you guys? You guys, Kim Kardashian just dropped face shapewear under her Skiims line. Specifically, it’s a $48 Skiims seamless sculpt face wrap. And she claims that this new line of face shapewear was a necessity because it offered amazing jaw support that snatches your chinny chin chin. You can see it just snatches your little chinny chin chin. So, I’ll leave this up to you guys if you think this is fashion innovation or the most dystopian beauty product we’ve ever seen because I think from the comments we can tell how the internet feels about it. Now, when Kim announced this, the internet wasn’t just confused. They were livid. What was marketed as the next evolution in beauty standards is now being dragged as the latest symptom of everything wrong with celebrity culture, body image, and the whole entire Kardashian brand. Kim has officially pushed the boundaries of shapewear and not in a good way. Her latest Skims launch includes a face wrap designed to snatch and sculpt the jawline. And while the brand claims it offers a quote unquote sculpted look, the reaction online has been anything but flattering. And many people are making videos voicing their opinions against this product. And Kim’s being called out for working on another cash grab and continuing to normalize unattainable beauty standards. So the product went viral almost immediately after the promo photos dropped on the skim’s Instagram. And the campaign featured models including Kim wearing nude bandagelike wraps tightly secured around their faces. And I’m not going to lie, it’s giving hospital giving very much posttop surgery. It just doesn’t look flattering nor comfortable. But to many, the look was less beauty forward and more medical horror. Social media instantly exploded with criticism. I mean, it definitely has an eerie resemblance to tools used in recovery from facelifts or jawline procedures. And that’s why many people believe that Kim is trying to normalize surgeries as well. On the Skims Instagram, they wrote, “Just dropped the ultimate face. Our first ever face innovation made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarn for ultra soft jaw support. Didn’t stop there, though. A second promo posted on the ski Instagram hyped the product up again, saying, “The innovation never ends. Our all-new face wrap offers ultra soft jaw support in our signature seamless sculpt fabric for a must-have addition to your nightly routine.” All the comments you have people writing things like, “Is it April Fools?” I’d love to know more about the collagen yarns because the website says it’s only nylon and spandex. Can we agree to disagree? Skiims making women feel bad about themselves since 2018. I was going to say this 19-year-old model needs this. Clearly being sarcastic. Can’t tell if this is trolling. This doctor says perfect for after faceelift, neck lift, or cemental lipo. I love this comment here. Just a reminder to all you young ones. I’m almost 40. Never had a single one of these and used the same face moisturizer all my life. This won’t stop the aging process. It also won’t do anything to prevent a single line or imperfection from forming on your face. To age is an absolute blessing and every line, scar, mark, and whatever else is just a reminder of everyday life. This is so toxic. We all age, and what a miracle that is. Another person reiterating, “It’s the way I actually thought it was April Fool’s Day for a split second at Skiims. If this works so well, why didn’t Chris Jenner use this instead of spending thousands of dollars on a facelift?” Great point. Skiims just launched face shapewear. They’re calling it the ultimate face. I I don’t know. It It’s making me feel so uncomfortable. Like, where we’re going is scary. We have to tape our mouths. We have to take Ozmpic to be skinny. Now we have to sleep with this gear on to literally maintain our beauty for who? It’s probably triggering me because I just feel like I am in this like endless game of reversing time and not letting myself age. I’m only 27 but and I’m bombarded with like all these things that I should do now before it’s too late. Too late for what? Like can’t we just age gracefully? Oh my god. Shortly after, they posted a video featuring an influencer seamlessly working the face wrap into her so-called morning shed routine, which is basically a Gen Z trend that revolves around the idea of going to bed ugly so you can wake up pretty. It basically includes everything from heatless curls and overnight slugging to fake tan contouring, all in the name of shaving down your morning glam time. And I feel like Kim or her team is using this morning shed routine trend because it has become a trend all over Tik Tok. I feel like she’s also using that to her advantage to kind of have people be like, “Oh, while I’m at it, I should also add this little face sculpting shapewear to my night routine because I’m definitely going to wake up the next morning with a snatched jawline.” All over Tik Tok, people are continuing to call out this launch for feeding into toxic beauty ideals and more specifically cashing in on insecurities under the guise of self-care. But people also argue that the face wrap is just another product fueling the already controversial and hyper capitalistic morning shed trend, which I love to see this because the Kardashians have built an empire, a multi-million dollar company off of setting these unrealistic beauty standards and they seem like they can just continue to get away with it, continue to influence young women to think that this is all okay. Don’t get me wrong, I love a Skim moment. I love the shapewear. I love the loungewear. I love even the butt pads, even the nipple bra that’s like pierce and wild. Like, okay, give me all of that. But this is where I draw the line. Like I need to be so comfortable when I go to bed. This looking at this image, I am claustrophobic and over stimulated. I just want to be comfortable. I just want to be able to sleep. Like can you imagine? I don’t understand the concept of going to bed ugly waking up pretty. Like all of this gear people are wearing all these things. Like no. I just need to feel easy breezy comfortable later on. Okay, maybe I’ll need a facelift. Maybe I’ll need a little snatch. Maybe I’ll need to get some work done. You know what I mean? But I’ll do that later and not wear this. And I don’t understand like is this for the masses? Are the girls wearing this and using this? And also why does it come in so many different shades? Like I understand the shapewear needing to be your right color skin tone, but if you’re just wearing a bandage at night time, like I don’t know. Maybe it’s just like for your aesthetic. Wild. Okay, I don’t get it. Like if you’re a girl who’s purchasing this, like please explain it to me. This isn’t coming from like a judgy bad place. Is he genuinely trying to understand like do they think this is normal because they get like procedures done often where it’s like when you have to like let’s just say wear that for like chin lipo or you have a little nip tuck done and you have to go to sleep wearing certain like bandages and gear. Like I’m not against plastic surgery. I will hopefully have the money to get that crazy $100,000 facelift one day. I want the Anne Hathaway special, the Lindsay Lohan, the Christian. I want that. But maybe they’re so used to getting things done, a nip and a tuck and a this and a that that they don’t think it’s a big deal to go to bed with this on. They’re like, “Okay, whatever.” Like, if this is going to keep me a little bit more snatched, I’ll wear this. When I got my nose done, I could not wait for the day that I didn’t have to wear that bandage here. I was so sick of it. I had to sleep upright. I had like all of those things are so annoying to me. So, maybe it’s just a me thing. What do you guys think? Would you wear this? And all of this has been going on for a decade. This is nothing new. This is something we use all the time. Here’s medical grade. Another medical grade. My patients typically get neck lipo. We use this garment all the time for the first two to three weeks. What she launched is nothing new. It probably will serve some benefit, but if patients have lots of fat under their neck, it ain’t going to do anything. Betty is also chiming in. She shouldn’t have felt so confident in advertising something as oppressive as this. That entire family are just a horrid, boring, bad taste, hyper capitalistic shame. Makes me really sad, honestly, that it’s just become so normalized that women are essentially being hardcore pressured to alter their appearance in such ways just to fit some bizarre standard set by those who often don’t even have natural features and bodies themselves. Amen. As of now, Kim and Skims have not issued a formal response to the backlash, and honestly, I don’t think they will. But I’m so glad people are shedding light to this and are holding the Kardashians accountable now more than ever and how out of touch their machine has been over the decades. So, let me know what you guys think about all this. Is Kim’s face shapewear just another beauty trend or is it a warning sign that it’s time to retire the Kardashian era for good? And at what point does snatching the face stop being beauty and start being a warning sign? Also, would you ever wear a face wrap like this just to look sculpted? or is this where we finally draw the line on beauty standards? Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below. I’d love to know. I love you guys so much and as always, I’ll see youall in the next video.

  1. People keep these witches in the spotlight by giving them attention…just don’t watch, don’t click, stop giving them money and attention

  2. Insecurities are self-imposed, tho!!! You can't blame one person for your own insecurities! 😂 I'm not defending Kim but if you're weak minded enough to buy a product beacuse you're insecure… that's your own problem. She's not forcing anyone to buy it or wear it. You're your own person and if something like this makes you feel insecure… LOG OFF OF THE INTERNET and work on yourself.

  3. Actually , Kim Kardashian aging very well.
I genuinely think that she could be elected American president for 2035 or 2040 elections.
Desi and European sociologists justified this hypothesis, as highly possible.

I was worried in 2018 2019, Kim hadn’t reached her 40 years old yet , but her friend JLo looked younger than her.

  4. Who tf would wear this unless they got a face lift or a chin tuck? The problem here is they can't pretend this has magical abilities to sculpt faces

  5. Please stop making videos about them that’s all they care about they don’t care about being good people or being right about anything they just want your attention so they can make more money. Please for the love of everything don’t make another video about them let this family fall once and for all PLEASE!!!

  6. I'm sorry doesn't this product already exist? I watch a TikToker and she uses one every night. Her thing is getting ready before bed so she doesn't have to get ready in the am..

  7. FINALLY!!!! I’m so sick of her CRAP. People are getting their RIBS TAKEN OUT because of her sickness propaganda. There’s no sickness for intentionally making people do crap and start trends like that. NO EXCUSES

  8. I was given something like this to wear after medical jaw surgery to prevent over swelling. Don’t see why you need this on a daily basis

  9. LMFAO!!! The comment in the thumbnail!
Nooooo?!!?!! Really?! Kim K profiting off of women’s insecurity by selling them BS products that no way they use?!!!?
Hahaha that been the case since ever 😂😂😂

  10. Lol i had one from wish years ago go and when my dad saw me wearibg it her called me “ crazy” 😂😂😂

I bought it to sleep without opening my mouth but ended ip not wearing it

  11. If her items don’t work It just seems like she’s doing her best at making the most money out of people’s money
I don’t see how the customers keep falling for it. Well it is their money after all 🤷🏽‍♀️

  12. I usually skip over these kardashian videos that you do , but I had to come on this one . Every year, you post that the Kardashians are over and they never really are . I've accepted that they have really die-hard fans that are not so vocal about being die-hard fans . I don't think they are really going to be "over" and I think everyone else should accept it at this point .

  13. That woman will be crushed when she will found out she can get old just like her mom. Yes they have money but nothing yet invented body reguvenation .and the face also looks strange after plastic surgery – scares , umps and what not. Even with all plastic they photoshope their faces . They are doomed
