Jenna Ortega Details “Absolute Dream” Working with Lady Gaga | E! News
Welcome back everybody. The Adams family is returning to Netflix. That’s right. The hit show Wednesday is back and we spoke to the stars about what season 2 has in store and all about Lady Gaga’s haunting debut. Secrets are the bedrock of the Adams family. The sooner I get answers, the sooner I can save Enid or die trying. We had the wonderful and incredible Joanna Lumley joining our season and I think it adds great complexity to the Adams family and the dynamic between the very strong women on this show. You know, I’ve I always have such an incredible time shooting with Catherine, but it was so wonderful to add somebody else to the mix and kind of put Morticia in a similar position as Wednesday. I feel like it kind of helps our relationship and we change the way that we interact with one another. And what was it like working with Lady Gaga? She’s unbelievably sweet and giving and gracious as a performer and to be able to, you know, spend a day with her shooting was um was an absolute dream. She’s a queen. She’s on a level that to be in her presence just for any amount of time is just very memorable and she’s so gracious and and assuming in a way, wasn’t she? Yes, she was. Who would the onscreen motheraughter duo love to see guest star in season 3? Do you know who I thought would be funny? He’s a friend of my husband’s obvious many many years. Danny DeVito. Danny Devito would sit it fit in so well with our world. Yeah. Yeah. He I might have to agree with you on that. I had the pleasure of working with him on Beetlejuice and just what an incredible individual. So specific and special. Funny. Yes. And just a sweet loving. Yeah. Yeah. I would love I would love for him to join. Jenna also gushed about her bond with Catherine. I’m so unbelievably lucky in my life and career this far, but getting to work with you has been just definitely a highlight. It’s so rare that you work with someone so talented and esteemed and well respected, but then also someone that I’ve looked up to for such a long time, but also just you’re funny. You’re funny. I feel like you don’t get enough credit for how funny and sweet and like silly you are. Can we just clone her? She’s just the best. [Music]
