Grease Star Didi Conn Makes Rare Public Outing at 74 | E! News
Greece actress Dee Khan will always be a pink lady. The actress who played Frenchie in the 1978 movie alongside Olivia Newton John and John Travolta is seen during a rare outing July 27th in Piermont, New York. The beauty school dropout who dawned a pink short-sleeved Ralph Lauren polo shirt in a nod to her pink lady’s days was spotted taking out her garbage. The beloved actress also sported a close- cut brunette haido the same length as Frenchies and a pair of dark rimmed glasses. Dee, who also appeared in Greece’s 1982 sequel starring Michelle Fefeifer, made another public appearance earlier in the summer, too. In fact, she hosted a singalong screening of the original movie musical at Los Angeles’s famed Hollywood Bowl during which John Travolta made a surprise cameo dressed as his character Danny Zuko. She tells people in a July 9th interview, quote, “When 18,000 people stand up and scream, “It is unreal. When I looked out and saw all those people there coming to have fun and they’re all dressed up, there’s pink ladies, there’s teabirds, there’s jocks, there’s nerds. It’s amazing that this film is a phenomenon.
