Jennifer Aniston divulges on Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Matthew Perry
Jennifer Anderson gets by with a little help from her friends, and that includes Goop founder Gwennneth Paltro. It’s one of the many juicy tidbits revealed in her new Vanity Fair cover story. From Brad Pitt to Gwen to the late great Matthew Perry, here’s what Jen had to say. It’s still a Brad Brad world. 20 years ago, Jen and Brad’s 5-year marriage ended after he allegedly had an affair with Angelina Jolie. At the time, in September of 2005, Jen sat down with Vanity Fair. She now looks back on that whirlwind as kind of jarring and such a vulnerable time. She admitted to experiencing obviously some PTSD from the tabloid worthy love triangle, confessing, “Boy, did I take it personally.” I mean, who could forget the non-stop sad Jen magazine covers? Her survival strategy, she told Vanity Fair, “Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl.” Through it all, Brad and Jen actually remained buds. She even attended his and Gwennneth’s engagement party. While they never got married, something good came of it. An A-list female friendship. She told Vanity Fair she and Gwen still gossip about their mutual ex, Brad, quipping, “How can we not? We’re girls.” The gal pals also swap beauty and wellness advice, including the everimportant questions like, “Do you have a new doctor for that?” Two things the ‘9s icon doesn’t want to make a comeback. Narrow sunglasses and really thin eyebrows. Otherwise, she’s happy that vintage styles are in again because she said, “They fit me so well.” As anyone who watches Friends reruns knows, tragically, the Chandler to her Rachel, Matthew Perry, passed away in October 2023 from a ketamine overdose. When Vanity Fair asked her about the loss, she made this heartbreaking confession. As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there’s part of me that thinks this is better. She clarified that she’s glad her friend and longtime co-star is out of pain.
