Travis Kelce shares rare glimpse into his love story with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce may play in Kansas City, but in his new GQ cover story, he’s serving pure Florida swamp chic, plus a side of rare romantic confessions about Taylor Swift. Let’s start with the love story. According to Kelsey, the romance didn’t kick off with secret handshakes or elaborate plays, it was as simple as two people sitting in a room, realizing they shared the same values, and then, in his words, it took the off. When there’s no camera, it’s just two people in love, he told GQ, “It happened very organically.” He also admits he’s mind blown by Taylor’s work ethic. And while she may never call herself an athlete, Kelsey says he’s seen exactly what she puts her body through on tour. Spoiler, it’s championship level. Now, about those photos styled by Lar Ro, Kelsey posed in headtotoe fur and waiters in Florida in August, holding an enormous Hermes Birkin bag because apparently the swamp is the new runway. One minute he’s in a Dolce and Cabana fur coat on a boat, the next he’s in a black leather Balenciaga fringe jacket with Stson boots, casually redefining postgame fit. All while, oh yeah, riding airboats and flyboards. The timing immaculate. His cover dropped the day after Taylor announced her 12th album. And the day before her debut on the Kelsey Brothers podcast. Coincidence, please. So, in the span of a week, they gave us a love story, a swamp fashion editorial, an album announcement, and a podcast crossover. Honestly, at this point, they’re not just dating, they’re running a cultural monopoly.
Travis Kelce is giving fans rare insight into how he and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, quickly fell in love.
“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” the Kansas City Chiefs star said in a new cover story interview for GQ, published Tuesday.
“When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.”
