How Zoë Kravitz destroyed pal Taylor Swift’s bathroom during LA wildfires
LA fires. You had to evacuate. Yes. You found your way to a friend’s house. I did. All right. So, tell us about it. I’m going to name drop. That’s fine. It was Taylor Swift. Okay. That’s a good house, right? Yeah. Great. Taylor Swift was kind enough to let her longtime friend Zoe Kravitz stay in her house during the devastating California wildfires in January. But the emergency A-list Airbnb wasn’t exactly a slumber party. Zoe shared the embarrassing story on Late Night with Seth Meyers, revealing she accidentally destroyed part of Taylor’s $25 million Beverly Hills mansion. Oops. You see, it wasn’t just Zoe crashing. Her mom, Cosby Show alum Lisa Bonet, was also there. And so was Lisa’s pet snake, Orpheus, which got loose and crawled into a hole in the bathroom wall, forcing the house manager to go to extreme measures. He gets a crowbar. Great. Um and starts having to like like tear apart this bette. We’re ripping up the tile. We’re scratching the walls. I mean, it’s just like and and now there’s this much of the snake. Now me and my mom are both holding the snake. In the end, the actress had to call Taylor and beg for BFF Mercy. Zoe joked that her next album would be called Orpheus after the slithering pet snake. While Taylor famously loves snake imagery, she just revealed her 12th studio album will be titled The Life of a Showgirl. Hardcore Swifties know that Zoe collaborated on Taylor’s 2022 album Midnights, co-wrote the songs Karma and Lavender Hayes, and even provided backing vocals. Clearly, she takes after her famous father, Lenny Kravitz, who is married to Zoe’s mom, Lisa Bonet, from 1987 to 1993. Lisa certainly has a thing for serpents. Just look at the tattoo on her left wrist and hand. But after this epic fail, she might think twice before letting the snake out of its cage.
