Stream It or Skip It: ‘And Just Like That’ finale (SPOILER ALERT) | Page Six Radio #shorts

And just like that, which it was announced by Michael Patrick King and Sarah Jessica Parker. It is ending. If you have not seen it and you don’t want spoilers, turn off the volume. Okay. So, I didn’t watch it, but I want to know what happened to Carrie in the end cuz famously like there were some Sex in the City very famous finales, right, about with Mr. Big and Mle Barishnikov. This is literal doodoo. Literal literal doodoo. There’s literal poop in the finale. No. Yes. It takes place during Thanksgiving, the worst Thanksgiving ever, at Miranda’s house. She even bails on her own Thanksgiving. And it’s just Brady. Brady’s crazy baby mama played by Ben Stiller’s daughter and her two crazy friends, one of whom is Spike Iron Bender, who was good, but plays a character named Epcot, who eats too much Brie and has to keep pooping and then later the poop all comes. There’s literally Wait, you’re lying, Megan. This is not real. This is not how it ends for Carrie Bradshaw at a sad Thanksgiving dinner where someone’s pooping because they ate too much brie and the pooper’s name is Epcot. That’s you’re actually No, you’reing with us. Were there any good parts of the finale? Let’s get back to this Brie situation. So the toilet overflows and the credits roll. The toilet overflows. Miranda starts cleaning it up. Miranda’s girlfriend comes over, sees Miranda starts crying. They hug. Carrie goes home alone and decides the end of her novel, which she previously had done an epilogue that hinted that Duncan, the really juicy British writer, would come back. She deletes that and says, “The woman was not alone, but on her own.” And then she dances around her like mostly empty apartment. What the Do you think they embraced this sort of new Disney, right? Cuz with Disney movies, it was a little bit like we don’t want to go with the trope that the princess has to end up with a man. Do you think they were like we can’t have Carrie end up with a guy she’ll be a tale of women of empowerment? I think that that is what Michael Patrick King thinks he was doing. My issue and I am a happily single woman. I love being single cuz I can do whatever I want whenever I want to is that throughout the finale Carrie didn’t was not happy about being single. Sex in the City, the original series, captured being single well. Like when she sat there with a glass of wine, no armor. It made no armor. There’s so many choices in this finale that are completely baffling to me. It makes being single look like something to be endured and not enjoyed. The show, weirdly, was just so out of touch. Sex in the City was like, love it or hate it, it was so on point, you know, like the restaurants, you know, in terms of like relatability. Yeah. You know what this all comes back to and I think really sunk and just like that not having Kim cuz she was the kind of thing would love to hear you say that she was the edge show. This show had no edge. The best quote she ever said. What’s your favorite film life? [Music]
