Meghan Markle allegedly had a tense confrontation with Prince William after he challenged her over a remark she made about the Princess of Wales. Kate had recently given birth to their third child in April 2018.

Friction escalated significantly around the time of Prince Louis’ arrival, which happened just weeks before Meghan and Harry’s Windsor wedding ceremony.

In his explosive memoir Spare, Prince Harry revealed that Meghan had clashed with Princess Kate after telling the future Queen that she had “baby brain”.

This remark reportedly prompted Kate to respond, telling Meghan, “We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones”. Defending his wife, William, 43, allegedly then confronted his sister-in-law.

According to author Robert Jobson’s book ‘Catherine, The Princess of Wales: The Biography’, which was serialized in the Mail on Sunday before its official publication.

Their confrontation intensified, prompting Meghan to fire back at William with this seven-word response: “Take your finger out of my face.”

Despite reports that Kate and Meghan were never particularly close, tensions peaked over a disagreement about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress for Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

Currently, Meghan and Harry are living in California with their two kids, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.
