Prince William has come into his own as he prepares to be king one day.

The former Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Michael Gove, who has had several professional interactions with Prince William, noticed how the future king has grown over the years.
According to Daily Express, Gove said that William has more “authority” and “confidence” now that he is the Prince of Wales.
Michael Gove noticed Prince William’s desire to offer a helping hand since he often attends humanitarian and charity gatherings. “When I met him for the illegal wildlife trade, he was charming and quite self-possessed. But it was more by way of, ‘What can I do to help?'” Gove noted.
“As Prince of Wales, it was more, ‘These are my plans.’ And while at certain points he deferred to members of his team, it was clear he was chairman of the board,” Michael Gove continued while discussing Prince William’s royal transformation. “You could sense he had grown in authority and confidence.”
When William was preparing to launch his homelessness project, Homewards, he consulted Michael Grove for help.
Michael Gove was quoted by Valentine Low in Power and the Palace, noting that Prince William had “a pretty detailed knowledge of the challenge,” which “impressed” the politician.
