[Music] The Venice Film Festival is wrapping up and this year’s event drew A-listers of plenty. We’re talking Kate Blanchett, Emma Stone, Julia Roberts, and even George and Amal Clooney. And I’m here to break down a few of the most talked about looks that graced the Leo over the past couple weeks. Kicking it off with the Cloonies, George and Amal graced the red carpet at the J. Kelly premiere in Giorgio Armani and vintage John Louie Sherer, respectively. The actor looked as dapper as ever despite battling a sinus infection, but all eyes were on human rights lawyer Amal in her fuchsia tapida address. Considering the look’s bold color and voluminous train skirt, you’d probably peg it to the 80s, but the design actually hails from the house’s fall 1995 collection, believe it or not. What do you think of a mall’s look? Dated or delightful? Another gown that proved very polarizing at Page 6 Style HQ was this Louis Vuitton look on Emma Stone. Personally, I love the intricate embellishment and thought she looked gorgeous and glowing. Others on my team likened the twisted balloon skirt to a sequined potato sack and said the color or lack thereof seemed to wash Emma out. Kate Blanchett’s always been a fashion trailblazer and this Maison Margella artal dress totally embodies her envelope pushing style. This is a love it or hate it look people. On Instagram, I saw fans praising it as so fierce, stunning, and a masterpiece. With one commenter noting that Kate’s quote, “One of the few who could rock this and make it look good.” On the other hand, another person called it a Project runway fail. While someone else wrote, “I hope those are not dead birds. Don’t worry guys, they’re actually feathers printed on tulle fabric.” Regardless of where you stand on this style statement, you’ve got to applaud Kate for having the coonus to take a fashion risk. Next, it’s two clues for the price of one. On the first day of the film fest, Heidi and Lenny stepped out in matching custom corset gowns from Intimism. Inspired by the brand’s signature silk lingerie, this motheraughter duo never fails to make headlines in Intimis. Who could forget their many viral campaigns for the company? And finally, we have to talk about this viral Versace moment. A mere 48 hours after Julia Roberts posed at a photo call wearing the first ever look from the brand’s new artistic director, Daario Vital, Amanda Ciphidred popped up at another in the exact same outfit. So, what the heck happened? Turns out the two stars share a stylist, Elizabeth Stewart. And when she shared an Instagram post showing off Julia’s navy wool jacket, striped shirt, and straightle belted jeans, Amanda was smitten. “Please let me wear the same outfit,” the Mean Girls actress commented.
