Rose will take over as CEO in February 2026, coming from Paramount, where she is the President of Channel 5 and UK Regional Lead. Meanwhile, Berry was appointed as the global partnerships ambassador for the Royal Foundation.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Sarah to The Royal Foundation and to working with her on some of the issues which are closest to our hearts,” Prince William and Kate Middleton said in a statement. “We are hugely grateful to Amanda for her exceptional leadership over the past three years and are pleased she will continue to work with us in her new role as Global Partnerships Ambassador.”
In the news release, Rose shared, “I am honoured to be joining The Royal Foundation and am excited by the ambition it has for the future.”
She continued, “I’m incredibly proud to have spent 30 years in public service broadcasting and I now look forward to working with Their Royal Highnesses, and the team at the Foundation, to support the vital work they do to tackle some of society’s most urgent challenges.”

Meanwhile, Simon Patterson, chair of the Royal Foundation, said he was “delighted to welcome Sarah.”
“She has a wealth of leadership experience, both commercial and public service, and embodies the Foundation’s core values of optimism and creativity,” he said in the news release. “She will be ideally placed to help the Foundation deliver lasting change.”
Patterson continued, “I would also like to take this opportunity to offer Amanda Berry our sincere thanks for her excellent leadership over the past three years. I look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role, building on the many successes she achieved during her tenure as CEO.”
According to the Royal Foundation’s website, its mission is to “mobilize leaders, businesses and people so that together we can address society’s greatest challenges.”
In April, Prince William announced a different royal shakeup when the Earthshot Prize CEO, Hannah Jones, announced she would “pass the baton” and step down from her position. Jason Knauf, the former CEO of the Royal Foundation, took her place over the summer.
