Prince Harry and King Charles III reunited for the first time in 19 months but was Prince William part of the private meeting?
According to People, Prince Harry, who is currently visiting the UK for a series of engagements, was seen arriving by car at Clarence House, his father’s London residence, around 5:20 p.m. local time on Sept. 10. He was inside for about 55 minutes before departing.

The surprising update in the Royal Family’s feud marks their first reunion since February 2024. Harry and Charles have only had a handful of public interactions since the Duke of Sussex left the Royal Family in 2020.
After his departure, reps for Harry and reps for Buckingham Palace confirmed that Harry and Charles had a private tea together at Clarence House but said no further details about the meeting would be shared.
However, there is one detail we can confirm and that is whether or not Harry’s older brother, William, was present.
Unfortunately for those hoping for a reconciliation between the brothers, it appears that William was not involved in Harry and Charles’ reunion. The day of the meeting, the Prince of Wales spent the morning in Cardiff, Wales, about a three hour drive from the King’s London home. There, William visited a new mental health hub being set up in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
William has reportedly kept his schedule pretty full while Harry is in town and insiders have reported that he thinks his father’s reunion with Harry is a “terrible, terrible idea” that makes Charles look “weak.”
The brothers have a longstanding feud that erupted during the early days of Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle and was later compounded by the younger Prince’s memoir, Spare, in which he accused his brother of physically attacking him during an argument about Markle.
For his part, Harry has repeatedly stated that he wants to heal the divide in the family. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious,” he told the BBC in May.
