Dancing with the Stars host Julian Huff detailed her plan to eventually move to the Himalayan mountains and shave her head after going through a very big excavation process in her personal life. Julianne Huff may soon be leaving the ballroom to make a major change. The Dancing with the Stars host unveiled her dream of traveling to a Buddhist kingdom in the Himalayan mountains and making a drastic change to her appearance, going bald. “I have this thing on my list of things I want to do. I want to go to Bhutan and shave my head with a monk,” Julianne said on the September 9th episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. And the 37year-old who stars on the dancing competition series alongside her brother Derek Huff is completely serious. Even involving her hair stylist Rihanna Capri in her plans. I literally called my hair stylist Rihanna and I was like I think we need to make a wig that is my exact haircut right now. Julianne continued. I was like, “We need to replicate this as a wig so that I can just shave it and then know that I’m good for work.” She added, “It’s weird. I’ve been wanting to do this my whole life.” Plus, Julianne, who trimmed her hair into her current bob in January 2024 after cutting it herself, sees her hairstyle as a way to broadcast what she’s feeling on the inside. It’s my outward expression of whatever I go through internally,” she explained. “And I’ve been through a very big excavation process recently, and I’m like, take it off.” And the Rock of Ages actress, who finalized her divorce from Brooks Lech in 2022 after 5 years of marriage, noted her buzzed look could potentially happen sooner rather than later. The last seven years, all the things I put into place, the systems of protection of who you think you should be, all of them have gone away, Julianne said.
