Royal enthusiasts are convinced Princess Kate’s gorgeous tresses have shifted back to brunette from blonde, though some suggest her styling choices might be influencing how her hair color appears.
A ‘fresh’ hue on Kate was noticed during her recent appearance at the Women’s Rugby World Cup clash between England and Australia last week on September 6.
Kate serves as patron of the Rugby Football Union in England and witnessed a landmark victory against Australia over the weekend.
For the match, Kate’s lengthy hair was styled into a chic updo, which led some admirers to believe her hair appeared different compared to her previous engagement at the Natural History Museum, where her glossy blonde strands were on display.
One social media user commented, “I heard comments that Catherine darkened her hair due to public backlash, but if you look closely, it is still as blonde in the back and still appears the same. She pulled it away from her face and everyone loves it,” reports the Express.
Kate and William resumed their Royal duties together on September 4, after a seven-week hiatus during the Royal Family’s summer break.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, also made a trip to Balmoral Castle in Scotland, the traditional August retreat for the royals.
The Wales family is preparing for a transition, planning to relocate to Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom residence in Windsor Great Park, with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis later this year.
Since August 2022, the family has resided in Adelaide Cottage within the castle grounds, but following a challenging 18 months that included the princess’s cancer diagnosis and treatment, they’ve decided it’s time for a change.
A Royal insider informed the BBC, “Windsor has become their home. However, over the last few years while they have lived at Adelaide Cottage there have been some really difficult times. Moving gives them an opportunity for a fresh start and a new chapter. It’s an opportunity to leave some of the more unhappy memories behind.”
The move is being privately funded by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
