Congratulations are in order for James Middleton and Alizée Thevenet, who celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday, with the Princess of Wales’ brother posting some never-before-seen photographs from their big day back in 2021. Taking to his Instagram account, James shared a stunning set of snapshots, alongside a heartwarming message to his wife, reading: ‘Happy Anniversary my darling Alizée – Je t’aime de plus en plus chaque jour,’ which translates as ‘I love you more and more each day.’
The first photo shows the pair walking out of their wedding ceremony in Bormes-les-Mimosas in France, showered in confetti with a Union Jack-adorned car awaiting. It is a sure reminder of how stunning Alizée looked on 11 September 2021, with the new Mrs Middleton donning the wedding gown that was once owned by James and Catherine’s mother, Carole Middleton. The bride and her mother-in-law appear to be firm friends, accompanying each other to Royal Ascot earlier this Summer.
One of James’ beloved dogs can be seen accompanying the newlyweds on the steps, dressed in a smart ribbon row. As the story goes, Mabel and another of James’ cocker spaniels, Luna, walked the pair down the aisle.
