Although the 2025 Emmy Awards took center stage, the fund didn’t end after the final award was handed out. In case you missed the ceremony, Apple TV’s The Studio was the big winner in the comedy category, taking home 13 awards, four during the main telecast and nine at the earlier creative arts Emmys. Additionally, HBO Max’s medical show, The Pit, won for Outstanding Drama Series following a lead actor win for its star Noah Wy on his seventh career nomination. As for Late Night, The Late Show with Steven Colbear took home the award for best talk series, while Last Week Tonight with John Oliver collected the trophy for best scripted variety series for the third year in a row.
