The Princess of Wales is a source of style envy, whether it’s her stunning designer frocks or her ‘off duty’ countryside chic ensembles. You’d think ‘comfortable trainers’ and the ‘future Queen of England’ do not go together, but the royal has shown that you don’t have to comprise on either style or practicality when it comes to footwear.
Kate has a few shoes in her collection that are both fashionable yet kind to feet, but there’s one pair in particular that she repeatedly wells – which means you can count on them being comfortable. The 43-year-old often opts for the Superga 2750 Cotu Classic Sneakers – and they’re surprisingly affordable.
According to the brand, the Princess of Wales sported the ‘classic’ trainers at the Chelsea Flower Show back in 2019. The trainers typically cost £50 but have been reduced by 40%, now £29.99 on Amazon, depending on the size and colourway you get.

The trainers are also available on the Superga website, but are a lot more expensive. They’re available for £49.50 down from £60, if you were to buy them from the brand directly.
The Cotu Classic trainers are a simple pair of trainers that offer virtually unlimited versatility, as they can be worn everywhere, the Daily Record reports. Engineered with breathable cotton and a vulcanised gum sole, the trainers are ‘incredibly comfortable’ and ‘don’t rub’ your feet when wearing them.
Meanwhile, the ‘lightweight’ design has been praised by those who aren’t overly keen on chunkier-style shoes. While Kate famously wore the white colourway of these trainers, you can choose from a selection of 36 other colours, with a broad size range from 2.5 to 13.5.
