Catherine, Princess of Wales has put her wardrobe into full autumn mode. Over the last fortnight, Her Royal Highness has been quick off the mark to tap the season’s most wearable trends. Including, as of today, the suede jacket trend.
The Princess’ latest appearance comes as part of the US state visit, where she was joined by First Lady Melania Trump in the grounds of Frogmore Cottage in the Windsor estate.
For the blustery Berkshire day, 43-year-old Catherine wore a dark green take on the suede jacket that has a hold on all of our wardrobes right now. The style from a previous Me+Em collection has proven to be amongst the most popular options for early winter layering thanks to its versatility and ease (forgoing the showers, of course). Catherine’s choice was not only in the alternative dark green shade, but in a boxy silhouette that added visual intrigue to her overall silhouette.

Her Royal Highness kept things tonal by wearing the green suede jacket with a coordinating silk scarf bowed at the neck, a Me+Em brown suede vest, a belted A-line skirt and brown suede boots.
