Prince Harry appeared “wistful and melancholy” while discussing his estranged brother Prince William during a television appearance, according to a body language expert.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, appeared in ABC’s new documentary The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland over the weekend, alongside his wife Meghan Markle, 44.
Speaking from their Montecito residence, the pair – who recently brought their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to Disneyland – discussed their affection for the theme park, both as grown-ups and during their childhood years, reports Daily Express UK.

Harry, who stepped away from his royal duties in 2020, also offered a glimpse into his recollections of visiting as a child with his late mother, Princess Diana and his brother, Prince William, with whom he is no longer thought to be in contact.
Remembering the enjoyable moments he experienced, the Duke said: “I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it, like ‘oh this is amazing’. With my mum and my brother. I remember it very well.”

Although Harry initially appeared delighted to be reminiscing about such memories, body language expert Judi James told Express that the prince quickly becomes “sadder” when he mentions his mother and brother.
She explained: “Harry doesn’t just talk about his childhood memories here, he acts them out, going into a childlike state with his body language to express his excitement at the time but then falling into a rather more nostalgic and sadder mood when reflecting the memories as an adult.
She added: “As he talks about the rides his shoulders rise upward along with his eyebrows in a childlike expression of excitement.

“When he talks about ‘losing it’ he looks upward too, mimicking the small child he was looking up at all the magical rides. His eyes are wide with wonder and he even gasps a few times.”
She continued: “But when he tells the interviewer he ‘went there with my mum and my brother’, his eyes come down to perform an eye-dart suggesting he is reflecting on those two people, and his facial expression takes on a sadder look.”
They talked about their love of the theme park
Harry and Meghan brought their kids to Disneyland just a few months back to mark Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday.
The family is thought to have enjoyed several days at the theme park, with Meghan even posting some family photos on her Instagram profile.
The photos and videos show the Sussex family meeting Disney characters and enjoying the attractions.
