I’m very annoyingly persistent and once I set my mind to something, I don’t give up. And I’ve already set my mind to winning a million dollars. That million dollars turning Survivor 49 into the most ruthless season yet. So said Jeff Probes in his September 24th Hollywood Reporter interview. The show’s longtime host teasing. The back half of the game was the antithesis of loyalty and deep bonds. and it made for a really fun season because the front half is really tough. The first thing I want to do is have a dominating alliance and I’m going to start by picking the biggest guy or the biggest girl in my group and having them be my meat shield. Jeff comparing season starter cast alliances to seemingly permanent tattoos until the midpoint merge when Jeff said fans can expect players to realize, wait a minute, turns out this is a temporary tattoo. Survivor is like a deep space exploration mission except instead of a bunch of highly trained astronauts, you have 18 rascals that are conspiring to jettison each other outside of the airlock.
